Payment Due Dates
Tuition and fees are due the first day of the term. If a student registers after the term begins, payment is due the same day.
The first day of Summer Term 2009, is June 22, 2009.
The first day of Fall Term 2009, is September 21, 2009.
The first day of Winter Term 2010, is January 4, 2010.
The first day of Spring Term 2010, is March 29, 2010.
You may pay online with a check or bank/credit card by logging onto my.mhcc.edu/ics. Payment in person is accepted at cashiering in the Student Sevices Center. Hours of operation are posted. You may mail your payment. Please include the remittance stub on your student billing statement. To pay by phone with a bank/credit card call 503-491-7462 during posted cashier hours.
Failure to pay tuition/fees by the above due date will result in late payment penalties. A $10 late fee is assessed on charges every 30 days past due.
Monthly statements will be mailed to the address on file approximately the last week of each month detailing account activity for the previous 30 days. Statements are not mailed for accounts with balances of $5.00 or less. Statements are a courtesy. The student is responsible to ensure payment in full by the published payment due date. Account information is available on-line at my.mhcc.edu/ics.
Student Installment Note and Veterans Deferment Note
Fall Term 2009
Payment due dates for the Student Installment Note and Veterans Deferred Payment Note are October 2, October 23, and November 20, 2009. The Student Installment Note must be turned in to the cashiers no later than October 2, 2009 in order to be considered for Fall term. The Student Installment Note must be filled out each term a student wishes to pay their tuition in payments or they will be subject to late fees.
Winter Term 2010
Payment due dates for the Student Installment Note and Veterans Deferred Payment Note are January 15, February 2, and February 18, 2010. . The Student Installment Note must be turned in to the cashiers no later than January 15, 2010 in order to be considered for Winter term. The Student Installment Note must be filled out each term a student wishes to pay their tuition in payments or they will be subject to late fees.
