|
Principles of Biology III
|
- Sp This course is the third term of the principles of biology sequence.
Students build on the concepts learned in BI211 and BI212 to study the
interactions between organisms and their environment (ecology) and the
processes and patterns of biodiversity (evolution and biogeography). Indoor and
outside laboratories introduce techniques used to study ecological processes
and provide opportunities for students to conduct research. The course is
designed primarily for students who are science majors, but is open to any
student with knowledge of math, chemistry, and genetics.
