Forest Measurements I

- W This course introduces the student to field measurement of forest
resources. Topics include fundamentals of field sampling, use of topographic
maps, measurements of land area using compass and GPS, and estimation of tree
heights, diameters, age, and site index. Electronic data collection and
analysis are integral.
