U.S. History: 1910 - Present

- Su/F/W/Sp History 203 is an introductory survey of United States history
from the early 1900s to the present. Major topics include the World Wars I and
II and their impact upon America's Home Front, the Great Depression, the start
of the Cold War, post-World War II economic and social changes, rise of the
Baby Boom, John F. Kennedy and the 1960s, the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights
movement, the youth movement, Richard Nixon and Watergate, Ronald Regan and
the Conservative Revival of the 1980s, the Clinton presidency in the 1990s, the
9/11 attacks and the War on Terrorism, and the election of Brack Obama in 2008.
