Travel and Tourism Geography
- F This course provides students with the basic concepts of geography by focusing on a broad overview of tourism throughout the Western Hemisphere. Primary emphasis is given to areas of touristic importance and the places and activities of greatest interest to potential tourist-visiting areas around the Western Hemisphere. This course will cover basic concepts of physical geography, psychological and sociological factors affecting travel, immigration, customs and health requirements for Western Hemisphere travel. Cultural geography will also be discussed as each region within the Western Hemisphere is presented.
