Machine Shop I Theory
|
- F (Formerly MFG110) This is a lecture course with instruction in the
fundamentals of industrial processes and machines that are required of the
machinist. This course provides the student with an introduction to layout
procedures as well as machining metal materials by drilling, sawing, turning,
milling, and grinding. Included is an introduction to and use of the
"Machinery's Handbook". The use and maintenance of machinist hand tools is also
presented.
