Metallurgy Theory

- W (Formerly MFG134 or WLD132) This course provides fundamental knowledge of
physical and chemical concepts of metallurgy. This includes discussion of
ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and metals processing, analysis of
destructive and non-destructive testing methods, and an introduction to
plastics. The focus will be on metallurgical issues faced by the practitioner in
metals manufacturing.
