Advanced Transcription Fundamentals

- F/W/Sp This class is designed to give advanced students the
knowledge and ability to reference the standards of the industry of medical
transcription by accurately using the American Association of Medical
Transcription, "Book of Style". Students demonstrate knowledge in areas of
professional issues, English style and usage, pathophysiology, surgery,
laboratory, and pharmacology as needed for advanced medical transcription.
Students learn to use electronic medical records.
