Applied Billing and Coding
|
- Su Students will participate in a simulated office
setting, where they will complete Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA)
forms, match International Classification of diseases, Ninth Revision,
Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) codes to Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)
codes for mock reimbursement, and bill mock insurance carriers. They will also
analyze and identify problems from EOB's (explanation of benefits) from
insurance companies.
