Physical Therapy Interventions 3

- Sp The pathology and management of orthopedic spinal dysfunction and
orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity commonly seen in physical therapy
are covered. Epidemiological factors (incidence, risk factors and outcomes),
prevention, common diagnostic procedures and medical/surgical management of
these pathologies are discussed. Rehabilitation strategies to address
impairments, functional limitations and disabilities for these conditions are
explored. Physical therapy interventions including spinal traction, industrial
rehabilitation, orthotics and taping, stress management and posture training
are also covered.
