Clinical Kinesiology 1
- W This course introduces the biomechanical principles of movement of the upper extremity, the neck, the trunk and the muscles of respiration. Discussion includes muscle origin, insertion, action, and basic exercise techniques for these areas. In addition, students learn range of motion exercise. This course also covers components of normal gait, use of assistive devices and gait training as a physical therapy intervention.
