Physical Therapy Interventions 6
- Sp This course covers the pathology and management of disorders of the cardiovascular, pulmonary and integumentary systems commonly seen in physical therapy. Discussion includes epidemiological factors (incidence, risk factors and outcomes), prevention, common diagnostic procedures, and medical/surgical management. Students explore rehabilitation strategies to address impairments, functional limitations and disabilities for these conditions. This course also covers implications for care regarding selected women's health issues, psychological disorders and the bariatric patient.
