Water Schools in April


What are Water Schools? Water School

Water Schools are a unique 2-day mini-college for individuals interested in current watershed issues, connecting with their community and getting involved with local stewardship groups.

Water School participants can also receive credit toward their Master Watershed Stewardship (MWS) and Master Naturalist certification.

What would I Learn?

Courses and field trips will be instructed by Oregon State University faculty and regional experts. Topics include watershed processes, the natural history of Portland, ecological gardening, urban wildlife, etc.

Volunteer Expo:

Take action and Spring into Summer. A Volunteer Expo will be held at each Water School, giving you an opportunity to meet local groups and find out more about getting you, your family and community clubs involved in your neighborhood.
