representative, and Seneca Lexow. The student-sponsored drive began April 18 and will end Tuesday, April 24. Students can register to vote in the Student Union, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., or at the Voter Registration table, located on the Main Mall April 18-19, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., and April 20, 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Student leaders are also working with college partners to promote voter registration around campus and in the classrooms. MHCC’s Associated Student Government (ASG) is coordinating the voter registration drive.
“It is critical for students to exercise their right to vote,” said Seneca Lexow, the representative of state and federal affairs for MHCC’s Associated Student Government. “We have an incredibly diverse student body and want to make sure that those who want to vote on Election Day have access to do so.”
