GRESHAM, Ore. - Oregon State University's (OSU) College of Business will be offering a one-credit Business Communication course (BA311) on MHCC's Gresham Campus for the 2019-20 fall term.
Sign up for Business Communications 311 now for free! While the course will be offered on MHCC’s campus, it will be taught by an OSU instructor, is an official OSU course and will be free for MHCC students. They may be required to pay a $30 registration fee. The class will meet each Monday from 1:10 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Room AC 2501.
By offering this OSU course on MHCC’s main campus, the two institutions hope to provide better accessibility for students in East Multnomah County. Students who take the course will earn one upper-division credit, which can be applied as an elective credit to a four-year institution or to meet a business major requirement at OSU.
Students who take BA311 will strengthen the professional skills that are most sought after by employers such as developing and refining resumes and cover letters, networking with industry professionals and potential employers and exploring various career interests and pathways.
The course is part of OSU’s College of Business Blueprint program, which is a 12-course series at OSU that guides students from campus to career through the development of essential skills needed to be successful in industry and in life.
Registration for BA311 is now open. Contact Jennifer Villalobos for more information and detailed instructions on how to register by Tuesday, September 24.
