Student sitting at commencement in cap and gown

Commencement Ceremony

MHCC is proud to celebrate our graduating students each year at the end of the spring term. All degree- and certificate-seeking students who plan to complete their program in the summer, fall, winter, or spring term are eligible for that spring’s commencement ceremony!

Important: All students planning to graduate MUST apply for graduation. The deadline to apply is April 12, 2024 to ensure you received commencement information!

At the ceremony, graduating students will arrive in caps and gowns and have the opportunity to:

  • Have their name announced.
  • Get their diploma cover.
  • Walk across stage.
  • Be congratulated by President Lisa Skari.
  • Get a professional graduation photo taken.
  • Be celebrated by the MHCC community, including Board Members, faculty, and staff.
