    The Office of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for maintaining the College’s employee classification and compensation system.  The system is maintained by participating in salary surveys, reviewing positions prior to recruitment, when processing requests for reclassification reviews and ongoing maintenance of the system.  HR forwards classification and reclassification recommendations based on market data and internal alignment, as appropriate, through the administrative channels for approval by the appropriate vice president position. 

    HR is responsible for maintaining the classification/compensation system and related records in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
