  • Associated Students of Mt. Hood Community College exists to enhance the general welfare of students through student advocacy and representation at MHCC. Associated Students of Mt. Hood Community College (ASMHCC) serves as the liaison between the college administration and the student body. ASMHCC delegates the authority to Student Activities and Student Clubs and Organizations to offer a broad range of programs, events, and activities designed to meet the needs and interests of our diverse student body. All students who are registered at Mt. Hood Community College and have paid their student fees are members of the Associated Students of Mt Hood Community College (ASMHCC). We invite you to be a part of your ASMHCC! Stop by Offices located in the Student Union, AC 1055.

    ASMHCC Meetings are open to any and all students. Stop by today to learn more and share your thoughts! ASMHCC Executive Cabinet meets Wednesday's from 2 - 4pm in the Council Chambers, AC 1052. Student Activities meets Tuesday's from 12 - 1pm in the Council Chambers, AC 1052.

    ASMHCC Book Scholarship Application

    ASMHCC knows that our students are struggling to cope with the rising cost of textbooks. Without textbooks our students can't do their best in the classroom. Apply today for the ASMHCC Book Scholarship.

    Applicants must be enrolled in 6+ credits, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and have completed at least one full term at MHCC.

    Close to graduating? Good news! Students close to graduation will be given priority to help support the completion of their degree, but all are welcome to apply.

    Barney’s Pantry

    The purpose of the Barney’s Pantry is to assist Mt. Hood Community College students in reaching their educational goals by providing emergency good services, education, and resources.

    The Barney Pantry is Located in the Student Union. Free food service for MHCC students who need food. You must present your current MHCC student ID card to be eligible for this service.

    The 2024-2025 ASMHCC Presidential Election will happen in Winter 2024.
