Central Electrical JATC is located in the Heart of the Willamette Valley, 90
miles south of Portland. Under the direction of the JATC, the 30,000 square foot
center was designed to facilitate training in all aspects of the electrical
construction industry. Apprentices in three occupations within the electrical
building trades provide related training in the center. The programs are
described below:
Limited Energy
Apprentices are trained to meet the
requirements of a Limited Energy-A Technicians license, which covers a wide
variety of low voltage applications including Voice, Data, Video, and Alarms.
These also include nurse call, security, paging, multi-media and fiber optic
installations.
Residential

Limited Residential Electrician License, which allows them to wire houses and
apartment style dwellings. This trade includes all facets of the dwelling from
Home theater to security and network cabling.
