Mt. Hood Community College’s head volleyball coach Kim Lissinna recently stepped down from her post to take a position at Saint Michael’s College, a Division II school in Vermont.
Lissinna joined MHCC in 2014 as an assistant coach. She assumed head coaching duties in 2016. Prior to coaching at MHCC, she coached at Charleston Southern University and Minot State University.
Under Lissinna’s leadership, the Saints competed in the 2017 Northwest Athletic Conference Championships, marking MHCC Volleyball’s first appearance in the championships in three years.
“Our volleyball team has a long history of competing in the NWAC championships and Lissinna continued that tradition of success,” said MHCC Athletics Director Kim Hyatt. “She’s like family to use. We’re excited to see her pursue this next step in
her career and we wish her all the best.”
