Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

If you enjoy taking care of others and are able to keep your cool in high-stress situations, you might do well in a career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). The EMT program at Mt. Hood Community College will train you to work with paramedics and doctors to help save lives in emergencies. Our EMT program can teach you to give basic medical care, like checking a person's breathing, treating wounds, and administering CPR.
