ART297 :  Watercolor III

This advanced-level watercolor class explores the creative potential of water-based media. The course covers all of the materials and methods of ART294 and ART296, but extends the focus to include experimental uses of non-traditional watercolor materials and their expressive potential. Aside from an extended personalized palette, the student is expected to work independently under the direction of the instructor who encourages an individual direction in choices of subject matter, technique and materials. The end result is the creation of a body of mature work suitable for portfolio presentation. Sequential.
