ART297 :  Watercolor III

This advanced level class explores the creative potential of water-based media. The course includes experimental uses of non-traditional watercolor materials and their expressive potential. Students develop an extended personalized palette. They work independently under the direction of the instructor who encourages an individual direction in choices of subject matter, technique and materials. A primary goal of the course is the creation of a body of mature work suitable for portfolio presentation. Prerequisite: ART 296. Sequential.
