• Using High School History for Placement

  • If you graduated from high school within the last seven years, we may be able to use your high school history to determine your course placement. Please complete the High School History form and include an attachment of your unofficial high school transcript. After submission, one of our Testing Services staff will reach out to you and let you know what reading, writing and math classes you placed into.

If you are dissatisfied with your placement levels, you can choose to take the College Placement test. During the pandemic, most testing is being offered remotely. Remote testing requires that you have access to a computer that has a webcam, microphone, speakers and a stable internet connection. Chromebooks have limited compatibility. Please let us know if you plan to take your exam using a Chromebook. You can find more information about the placement test by visiting www.mhcc.edu/College-Placement-Test.

If you do not have access to computer with the required equipment, we do have some limited in-person testing appointments. Please contact us at testing@mhcc.edu for more information.
