The IMPORT [Individualized Mechanical Program Of Repair Technicians] program is designed as a two year automotive curriculum to develop the technical competency and professionalism of the incoming dealership and independent repair facility technician.

The IMPORT program provides training taking place at both Mt. Hood Community College and sponsoring automotive repair facilities. Students have a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and mentored training while earning an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology.

Subaru of America has recently signed an agreement with Mt Hood Community College to sponsor students providing Subaru dealerships across the country with trained technicians.

Sponsorships are also available at independent repair facilities and dealerships throughout the state of Oregon and Southern Washington, including Acura, BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen.
