Transfer coursework from Foreign/Non-US Based Educational Institutions must be evaluated by an outside credential evaluation service. The evaluation company must be a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or the
Association of International Credential Evaluators Inc. (AICE). To view a list of NACES or AICE members, please refer to their web sites, www.naces.org and http://aice-eval.org.
For consideration toward admissions or completion of degree requirements at MHCC, coursework must be:
- Post-secondary level
- Evaluated course by course
- From an institution that is comparable to a regionally accredited US institution
- Parallel in content to MHCC coursework
Transfer credit from foreign/non-US based educational institutions is subject to the same requirements and limitations as transfer credit from domestic educational institutions.
In some cases, students may be required to provide course descriptions in English for any course they wish to apply toward admission or degree requirements.
