• Search Committee

  • The Mt. Hood Community College District Board of Education has begun the search for the new leader of our college. We would like to thank our current President, Dr. Debbie Derr for her leadership and commitment to the mission of our college. Her pride in this institution is apparent every time she speaks about Mt. Hood Community College. We wish her well as she prepares for her retirement.

The board has hired a consultant to guide us in the presidential search process. Along with working with the consultant we are currently establishing a search committee of both internal and external stakeholders. We are committed to an open and inclusive process, and will engage a variety of community partners, college faculty, staff and students in this effort.

Please continue to visit these pages for the latest on the presidential search. Thank you to all who support this outstanding community college, our students, faculty, staff and board of directors.
