Project YESS Youth Conservation Corps

  • Our Mission Statement:

Helping youth help themselves through developing persistence, respect, responsibility, an achievement mindset, and a sense of adventure.

PYYCC is the Project YESS in-house job training program that employs and empowers youth and young adults through hands-on conservation service and education. We serve and hire youth from Project YESS, the Career Connect Network (CCN), and the greater East Multnomah County area. Corps members earn an hourly wage while completing valuable natural resource and conservation projects for our wide variety of partners. They also engage in detailed conservation and environmental education and participate in outdoor pursuits and adventures to build their comfort in, and knowledge of, wild places and nature.
