Why Mt. Hood: Mt. Hood tuition is very inexpensive and the Gresham campus is super close to where I live, about a ten minute drive.

Why I chose to be a student leader: I took Leadership classes for four years in high school, and always enjoyed being able to help the school out and represent my school as a whole. I strive to lead others, and thought being a part of MHCC ASG team is a place I belong.

Each day on my way to MHCC: I realize I should eat something for breakfast, but feel too cheap to stop by anywhere to purchase any food.

My iPod or Pandora playlist includes: New, popular songs, like those by Charlie Puth (One Call Away or Marvin Gaye), Justin Bieber (Let Me Love You or Love Yourself) and Andy Grammer (Fresh Eyes, my favorite song!), but mainly throwback songs, like those by Akon (Smack That or Don’t Matter), Ashley Tisdale (He Said She Said or Headstrong), and One Direction (Little Things or Kiss you.)

After MHCC, I plan to: Transfer to George Fox University to get my undergraduates in pre-veterinary medicine, and go on to get my graduates degree in veterinary medicine at Oregon State University.

Why Mt. Hood: I grew up in Gresham, and I have a lot of ties to the community. So I didn’t want to give all that up.

Why I chose to be a student leader: I love giving back to my community, and I figured being on ASG would be a great way to do that this year. I’m also a people person and there’s a lot of people I get to meet and make friends with in this position.

Each day on my way to MHCC:  I listen to music, and get coffee from the bookstore or black rock.

My iPod or Pandora playlist includes:  Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Britney Spears, Walk the Moon, The 1975, Imagine Dragons, Flume, Rihanna, Carly Rae Jepsen and twenty one pilots

After MHCC, I plan to:   Become a staff member with Outdoor School for a few years, and then off to university to get my master’s in education!

Why Mt. Hood: They provide a wonderful nursing program and the tuition is inexpensive.

Why I chose to be a student leader: I chose this without knowing I be a student leader. I wanted to plan events that students would enjoy and want.

Each day on my way to MHCC: I do not enjoy drinking coffee, so I usually drink a cup of tea. I preferably drink Earl Grey tea.

My iPod or Pandora playlist includes: Mostly 90’s Hip-Hop; A Tribe Called Quest, Big Pun, Wu-Tang, Biggie Smalls, Gang Starr, Mos Def, MF Doom.
    Now; Logic, Quasimoto, Capital STEEZ.

After MHCC, I plan to: If I am not accepted into the nursing program I will transfer to Linfield or University of Portland.
