    Career Services for All Students:

    Take a career planning class

In partnership with Human Development (HD), we offer a variety of classes focused on helping students define and pursue their career and life plans, in addition to in-depth resume development.

    Choose a major

Go from 'undecided/exploratory' to a clear academic/career goal. Working with a career counselor can help you make this important decision. Email mhcareer@mhcc.edu to set up a 30 or 50 minute session with one of our career counselors.

    Find a job or internship

MHCC Career Services uses College Central Network as its official job search, job resource, and resume system. This site is available 24/7 to students, alumni, and employers at https://www.collegecentral.com/mhcc/. We also host employer recruitment events virtually and in-person to connect students and alumni to employers seeking to hire MHCC Saints.

Our Student Career Development Coordinator is also available to connect one-on-on on job searches and employment research. Contact jennifer.mcneil@mhcc.edu to schedule an appointment.

    Work on campus

Our Student Employment Office focuses on connecting currently enrolled students to employment opportunities specifically designed for students as Federal Work-Study or Student Aide positions. Working on campus as a student has unique benefits, including convenience of location with classes & work, meaningful connections to a student’s career goals & the college community, and financial supports.

Get resume writing assistance and interview practice

Our Student Career Development Coordinator works one-on-one with students and alumni in their job preparation by reviewing resumes and providing interview tips and practice. Contact jennifer.mcneil@mhcc.edu to schedule an appointment. All appointments are held remotely by phone or Zoom as our on-campus offices are closed.
