Family & Friends

Friends & Family It is a pleasure to welcome you as a family member or friend of an incoming Mt. Hood Community College student!

Our New Student Welcome Day program offers a great opportunity for family members and friends to learn about how they can best support their student. This specially designed program will acquaint you with the people, places and services at Mt. Hood Community College.

You will start the day with your student at the Welcome Festivities in the Gymnasium. At 9:45 a.m. your student will start their chosen activities and you will be escorted to the Family & Friends Panel.

**Agenda for Family & Friends:**
Time	Event
8 – 9 a.m.	CHECK IN with your student, get situated and enjoy light breakfast snacks in the Gym.
9 a.m.	LET THE FESTIVITIES BEGIN!
9 – 9:45 a.m.	WELCOME and “Tips on What to Expect as a New Student at MHCC”
9:45 – 11:15 a.m.	FAMILY & FRIENDS PANEL – Introductions to Student Services, Learning Support and Student Engagement.
11:15 a.m. – Noon	Optional Campus Tour
Noon – 1 p.m.	Lunch – reconnect with your student out in the Main Mall

Please note: No children are allowed at New Student Welcome Day so please make appropriate arrangements
