AR 7120: Recruitment and Hiring

Mt. Hood Community College’s recruitment and hiring practices shall demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in order to achieve the college’s mission and support students in achieving their educational goals. The college employs strategies to increase the representation of historically marginalized communities in the workforce. Hiring practices mitigate bias and minimize barriers to employment. “Historically marginalized communities” refers to those who are part of communities that have historically and today experience systematic discrimination and exclusion.
