Chemistry Biochemistry - Program Details

As a Chemistry student at Mt. Hood Community College, you will learn about both general and organic chemistry. Through labs and class work you’ll learn about chemical reactions and how matter from one element reacts with another. At MHCC, you will start with the basics, and you’ll be prepared to transfer to a four-year university for further studies to finish your bachelor’s degree.

The Chemistry major requires 90-95 credits to complete. For the most part, you can complete courses that fulfill general education requirements in any term.
