Graphic Design - Program Details
In this program, you will learn how to understand, change, and manage design elements. This includes learning about color, composition, and typography to create your original designs. You will also learn about the use of computers in design for file management, image manipulation, and digital illustration.
Hands-On Learning
In your classes in the graphic design program at Mt. Hood Community College, you will work hands-on. You will use our high-tech Mac labs and the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software, production tools, and color printers.Program Outcomes

Courses and Curriculum
The degree program will take 94-95 total credits to complete. The graphic design digital assistant certificate will take 39 credits to complete. Most general education requirements can be completed in any term. If you are working toward your certificate, you can continue into a second year to earn your degree, where you will develop more advanced skills to prepare you for a career.
