Video Production - Program Details

Whether pursuing your degree in video or the video digital assistant certificate, you will learn to film and produce professional quality video. You will also learn to edit videos using Adobe Creative Cloud software, which is used to prepare videos for broadcast and online distribution. You will also learn about the use of computers in design for file management, digital filmmaking, and screenwriting.

Hands-On Learning

In your classes in the video program at Mt. Hood Community College, you will learn hands-on. You will utilize our state-of-the-art film studios, high-definition gear, and Mac labs.

Courses and Curriculum

The degree program will take 96-99 total credits to complete. The video digital assistant certificate will take 41 credits to complete. Most general education requirements can be completed in any term. If you are working toward your certificate, you can continue into a second year to earn your degree, where you will develop more advanced skills to prepare you for a career.
