Natural Resources Technology Certificate

If you’re looking to start your career working in natural resources, forest management, or conservation, the Natural Resources certificate program could give you a great start. This program at Mt. Hood Community College takes you through all first year courses in the Natural Resources Technology program. Once you complete this certificate you’ll have a head start in your career, and your credits will count toward the completion of your Forest Resources or Wildlife Resources degree if you return to MHCC later on.

In this program you’ll learn all about natural resources management through class work and hands-on field study. It is suitable as a stand alone program for those working in natural resources, forest management, or conservation. You may also complete this program then go on to finish the Forest Resources or Wildlife Resources degree.

How To Get Started

You can start the Natural Resources certificate during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
