Urban Myths or Urban Facts?
Come Swap Scary Stories at the MHCC Library

Posted: October 22, 2010

Have you heard the story about the business traveler who has a few drinks with a stranger and wakes up submerged in ice in the bathtub and missing a kidney?

Have you heard about the well-meaning young couple who stop on a country road to pick up a stray dog--which they discover (after it tears down a door and devours their cat!) is actually a rat?

Do you remember the story about the amorous young couple who discover a prosthetic hand clasped to their car door, after hearing on the radio that a killer is loose?

Fact or fiction? Come hear these urban legends and scary stories – and learn how to tell if they are true – Oct. 27, 4:30 – 6 p.m. in the Bob Scott Room at the Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Library.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Individuals requiring accommodations due to a disability may contact the MHCC Disability Services Office at 503-491-6923 or 503-491-7670 (TDD). Please call at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure availability.
