Mt. Hood Community College Presents ‘Air Freshener’ Art Show
The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Fireplace Gallery presents the works of Garth Swanson, April 4 - 28.
Swanson’s show, titled “Air Freshener,” will be displayed Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., at MHCC’s Gresham Campus, 26000 SE Stark St. Admission is free and open to the public.
Swanson says he spends “hours in the studio, which at times can seem a kind of a world in itself. I want to find some commonality, some crossover between the rather romantic, solitary pursuit of art and the more mundane, daily existence of bills, meals and commutes.” The artist describes his work as “the intersection of art and everything else in life.”
