Art Exhibit at MHCC Explores Space-Time
Posted: February 23, 2012
The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Visual Arts Gallery presents Space Time, an exhibit featuring the works of William Rihel III, Matthew Juniper and Stephanie Simek.
Space-time is the four-dimensional continuum of one temporal and three spatial coordinates in which any event or physical object is located. Through three different mediums, each artist has created artworks that explore just a few of the infinite possibilities of what it means to exist in time and space.
The exhibit will be displayed 9 a.m. – 5 pm., Feb. 27 – March 22 in the Visual Arts Gallery, located on the Gresham Campus, 26000 S.E. Stark St. Admission is free.
A reception will be held in the Visual Arts Gallery on Leap Day, Feb. 29, 6–9 p.m. Parking is free during the reception. Other times, parking permits are required on the Gresham Campus and may be purchased for $3 at ticket kiosks located by the gym and flagpoles.
