Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Visual Arts students present their best work through June 7 in the Visual Arts Gallery.
The annual juried student exhibit will include categories for ceramics, drawing, life drawing, printmaking, painting, jewelry/metals, sculpture, 2-D and 3-D design, digital art, watercolor and calligraphy.
Students completed all pieces in MHCC Visual Arts courses during the 2011-12 academic year. “This is an opportunity for student artists to gain exhibition experience and receive feedback on their work from fellow students, professional artists and the public,” says Miles Browne, Visual Arts Gallery coordinator.
Please join us to see the incredible body of work that these student artists have created. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and closed weekends and holidays. An opening reception will be held May 10 in the gallery, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The gallery is open to the public and admission is free.
The Visual Arts Gallery is located on the east side of the Gresham Campus, 26000 S.E. Stark St. Parking permits are required on the Gresham Campus and may be purchased for $3 from ticket kiosks located by the gym and flagpoles. Parking is free during the reception.
