Art Exhibit Focuses on ‘Quiet’ Paintings

The MHCC Visual Arts Gallery presents an exhibition by artist Tara Burkhardt titled “Quiet: Being Within."
Burkhardt’s work focuses on visual explorations of everyday experiences. Her most recent body of work is a series of oil paintings based on an exploration of quiet, and how it is experienced and perceived.
Burkhardt is an artist living and working in Portland, Ore. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, in 2010, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University, in 1995.
The exhibition will be on display March 4 –28. A reception will be held in the Visual Arts Gallery, March 7, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
