MHCC Announces Outstanding Support Staff Awards

Posted March 29, 2013

Each year, Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) employees select three colleagues to receive Outstanding Support Staff Awards. This award recognizes those who demonstrate dedication, professionalism, leadership and enthusiasm in their work and within the community.

The winners of the 2013 Outstanding Support Staff Award are Vicki Lundmark-Trujillo, Brenda Wise and Nathalie Wright.

Vicki Lundmark-Trujillo works as an administrative assistant in the Industrial Technology (IT) division. Her outstanding service goes beyond her co-workers and extends to students, industry partners and IT advisory committee members.

Brenda Wise, Science Lab coordinator, is lauded for her organizational skills, friendly demeanor and words of inspiration. She is also credited with providing a safer work environment through multiple safety upgrades and required Standard Operation Procedures.

Nathalie Wright, a distance learning professional development facilitator, was nominated for the following reasons: "Nathalie is a lifeline for the department of English and Modern Languages! She is kind and patient! She inspires others with her enthusiasm and encourages instructors with her software knowledge."

The MHCC District Board of Education honored Lundmark-Trujillo, Wise and Wright at the March 13 meeting. The MHCC Foundation will present each award winner with a $500 check in appreciation for their outstanding service to the college community.
