    Student Orientation Day is an opportunity for students to get to know MHCC’s campus, have their questions answered, and learn about the many resources available to them. All students who are new to college, transferring from another college, or restarting after three or more years are invited to attend. Visit Student Orientation Day as details become available.

    Log on to MyMHCC, click “Financial Aid”, then “View My Bookstore Authorized Amount” to see if you have funds available. Make sure you are following the guidelines for remaining eligible for financial aid at Keep My Aid.

    For in person classes arrive early and attend all classes you’re registered or waitlisted for. Online courses, be sure to log in the first day. Review the course syllabus to understand the expectations and check for any scheduled virtual meetings.

    Last day to drop with a refund.**

    • The REFUND DATE for every class is printed on the Student Class Schedule or the Course and Fee Statement located on the MyMHCC portal. To have charges removed, students must process a drop by the refund date on the MyMHCC portal or by contacting the AR&R Office in person or by phone.
    • Check the REFUND DATE if adding a class late. You may be adding after the refund period for that class, and therefore ineligible for a refund.
    • Concentrated first-five-week sessions run September 25 through October 28. Last day to add online is September 24 at 11:59 p.m. Last day to drop with a refund is September 27. Last day to change grading type or withdraw is October 18.
    • Concentrated second-five-week sessions run October 30 through December 9. Last day to add online is October 29 at 11:59 p.m. Last day to drop with a refund is November 1. Last day to change grading type or withdraw is November 22.
