Pre Law - Program Details

The pre-law program at MHCC prepares you for a successful career in the legal field. You’ll learn about legal concepts that will help give you a head start when you begin law school.

Studying Law

Once you are admitted into the program, you can start the process of building an academic plan based on this major while working with an advisor for review.

Program Outcomes

After completing this program you'll be able to:

  • Use oral communication tools and effective listening skills.

Courses and Curriculum

While you pursue your pre-law major you can complete courses toward the social science and elective requirements for your associate degree. Most of the courses available can easily be transferred to a four-year institution so you can go on to earn your bachelor’s degree if you choose to do so. Work with an advisor to make sure you are taking the right classes.
