Testing Services

Welcome to Testing Services at the Gresham campus! We are located in Room 2335 which is in Building 13 of the Academic Center. We offer a wide variety of exams for students and the college community. Specific exam information, including the days and times each are offered, can be found by selecting a link below.

Testing Services General Policies
Testing Services strives to ensure a professional, secure and welcoming testing environment for students and the college community, and subscribes to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines. As such, the following policies are enforced for all examinees.

College Placement Testing (CPT) and Determining Course Placement
Before enrolling in classes at MHCC, we must assess your skills to determine what class levels will be right for you. There are multiple ways to determine your course placement!

GED Testing

Take the next step toward furthering your education. Sign up here to take your GED and earn your high school equivalency!

Make-up & Written Exams

Did you miss a test in class? Your instructor may allow you to make-up the test in Testing Services.

CLEP Exams
Earn college credit for what you already know!

Online Exams for MHCC Online Courses

Are you taking an Online Learning class that requires proctored testing? We are here for you!

Pesticide Licensing Exams
We offer testing for Pesticide Applicator Licensing through the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

Distance Education Exams for Other Institutions

Do you need exam proctoring services for a class you are taking somewhere else? We can help!

Pearson-Vue Testing

As a certified Pearson-Vue testing site, we look forward to administering your IT, academic, government and professional program certification exams!

Multnomah County Adult Care Home – English Competency Testing

Those interested in becoming an Adult Care Home Operator are required to take an assessment to demonstrate English Competency. This test is offered at two Mt. Hood Community College locations

Release of Information Requests
If you would like Testing Services to release your College Placement Test results to another school, please click here for a request form.

Community Skills Center
The Community Skills Center also serves as a proctoring site for MHCC online distance learning exams.
