  • MHCC is committed to reducing the cost of textbooks through the adoption and creation of Open Educational Resources (OER) and integrating Library resources to replace expensive commercial textbooks. The Textbook Affordability Team (TAT) coordinates grant funding and support services for MHCC faculty as they implement OER. Explore the pages below, or ask a librarian for help!

    The MHCC Foundation charged the TAT with managing $50,000 in OER grant funding to MHCC faculty: $10,000 annually for five years. Applications for the first cohort are due November 9, 2018.
