Career Planning & Counseling Center

  • The Career Planning & Counseling Center brings together various services, resources, and staff to support students in their career development, exploration, and enrichment, in addition to students’ well-being and mental health.

    Our CPCC provides on-campus and remote services over Zoom, phone, email, or LiveChat instant messaging.

  • Career-Exploration-LB

    Career Planning

    If a student needs help with identifying programs related to a major or career path, reviewing a resume, or creating a career development plan, the CPCC provides career counseling, assessments, online resources, and onsite career fairs to assist students in pursuing or progressing with a satisfying career.

    Human Development

    The CPCC offers college-credit courses within Human Development that cover college success, career and life planning, scholarship success, and transferring to a four-year college or university.

    Personal Counseling

    If a student needs support in discussing academic or personal concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, dealing with a failing grade, stress management, or suicide), the CPCC provides free, confidential and professional counseling services and referrals.

    Reporting a Student of Concern

    If there is a concern about the well-being, safety, and health of a student, the Care Report is the form used to inform the CPCC counselors and Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (BITA) team.
