Ford ASSET

  • The Ford Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) program utilizes an Associate of Applied Science degree curriculum designed to provide technically competent, professional level technicians for Ford dealerships. Mt. Hood Community College is offering this opportunity in partnership with the Ford Motor Company. While most students will be from the metropolitan area, residents from throughout the state are encouraged to apply.

  • Program Details

    The program can prepare you for a variety of positions in the automotive field including Automotive Technician, Shop Foreman, Service Manager, Parts and Service Director.

    Ford/AAA Auto Skills Contest

    Mt Hood Community College, AAA of Oregon/Idaho and the Ford ASSET program host Oregon high school automotive superstars as they compete for the 1 st place trophy and chance at a trip to Dearborn Michigan to compete in the national competition.

    Tool List

    Mt Hood's state-of-the-art Automotive Technology tool room is equipped with the same industry standard and specialty tools used by technicians at Ford and Lincoln dealership repair facilities.  

    Local tool vendors offer a 50% discount to Ford ASSET program students.
