Softball
The five-time NWAC Champion Softball Team has a lot to be proud of. They're not only champions on the field but off the field too. Annually, the Saints softball team participate in the Race for the Cure and host several softball clinics for young women and girls in the community. These student-athletes also boast one of the highest team GPAs within the NWAC.

Winter 2024 MHCC Softball Camp
Come join the MHCC Softball team and coaches for a winter all-skills camp on December 7, 2024! We have programs for ages 5-13 and 14 and up. The camp will focus on basic and advanced skills associated with the sport of softball.

HEad Coach - BrittanY Hendrickson
In 2022, Hendrickson and her staff led the team to the program's sixth NWAC championship title. The 2022 team ranked among the NWAC leaders in almost all offensive categories and broke the MHCC team batting average record. Hendrickson and her 2022 staff were awarded NFCA coaching staff of the year as well as NWAC Coach of the year. The Saints finished the season 39-12 and went 5-0 at the NWAC Championship tournament. Eight players received all league recognition. Prior to coming to MHCC, Hendrickson was the assistant coach at Concordia University Irvine where the team finished with a 42-13 record.
Hendrickson attended Portland State University where she played softball from 2011-2015. She was a five-time Big Sky Player of the week, three-time all-league selection and remains in the Portland State record book in multiple offensive categories. She was an outstanding scholar athlete, having been named to the All-Big Sky Academic Teams from 2011-2015.
Assistant Coach - Taylor Gould
Taylor Gould, entering her fourth year on the MHCC coaching staff, previously coached Team Mizuno (7th place finish at nationals) for one year and the Northwest Batbuster's organization for one season as well. Coach Gould primarily works with the Saints outfield. In 2018, Gould was named the NFCA NWAC Assistant Coach of the year and guided Makiah Johnson to All-American honors in the outfield. Gould also helps assist the NW Bullets 16u program. Gould played for two years at rival Clackamas Community College, where they finished 2nd place during the 2013-2014 season.
Assistant Coach - Kayla Grahn
Kayla Grahn is in her third year as an assistant coach with the softball team. Grahn works with the pitching staff and is passionate about promoting positive team morale and hype. A graduate of Sam Barlow High School and MHCC, Grahn was a two-time NWAC champion and tournament MVP. Coach Grahn finished her softball career at Eastern Oregon University. In addition to coaching, Grahn is a high school math teacher at a local area high school.
Assistant Coach - Rian Snowadski
Rian Snowadski has just wrapped up her second year as the strength and conditioning coach for MHCC. Snowadski helped train and condition the team, supporting the program as they won the 2022 NWAC Championship. She continues to help coach and train the Oregon Rebels Softball program.
Snowadski was a member of the 2019 MHCC softball team that ended the season number one in the South and 33-7 overall. She completed her playing journey and graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science at Warner Pacific College. Snowadski attended Sam Barlow High School, where she was awarded 1st-team all-state during her senior season.
