The Experience
Program Details
The geology major at MHCC lets you earn most of your core credits at a lower cost before transferring to a four-year school to finish your degree. If you want to transfer to a four-year school, you should work with your transfer school of choice and an MHCC geology advisor to make sure you are taking the right classes.
Your future
MHCC works with a number of four-year institutions to make sure your credits can easily transfer for completion of your bachelor’s, including Oregon State University, Portland State University, and University of Oregon.
How To Get Started
You can start the geology program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
