Mechatronics Degree - Program Details

MHCC’s mechatronics program mixes online learning with hands-on labs. It’s set up for students who work, letting you study online and still practice in labs with teachers. The program teaches you about robots, machines, and how to keep them running. You’ll learn to solve problems and control machines and robots with computers. If you enjoy building, fixing, and working in teams, this is for you. You’ll also pick up skills in welding and using different tools. When you’re done, you’re ready for jobs in factories or any place that uses robots. MHCC's mechatronics program takes seven terms over two years to complete, with one summer class you can take at a different time if you need to. When you finish, you get an Associate of Applied Science degree in mechatronics and industry certificates for robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
